Welcome to my ancestral website. You don't have to be related to me to perhaps find your ancestors in my database. Imagine how many different families your ancestors married into, then imagine how many families those people married into and so on. Well the task of finding out how far across I could go from our family tree is the one I have set myself. It's a task without end, but my aim is to try and find out something about all the names I come across. I cannot do it without the help of many direct descendants of the families involved, and to all of you who have helped so far I am really grateful. I try to check the information passed on to me, but occasionally errors are bound to creep in so please let me know if you spot them. I cannot guarantee any degree of accuracy. It goes without saying that I cannot buy certificates for people outside of my direct tree, it is too expensive, so the "trees" of the non-related is added to my database based mainly on census and BMD Indexes If you are using material from this site which will be published on another website all I ask is that you provide a link to my site and credit that info to the me or the originator (where a 3rd party is stated as my provider) Please be aware that all information on this site may be used by other people for the purpose of personal research, so please do not pass photo's, certificates, or other items if this causes a problem to you. Due to problems with my database in Dec 2008, I lost all my census transcriptions, and many of the histories that went with them. Whilst a large number of families have had this info re installed, many of the fringe families have not yet been updated I also have photo's and certificates, where the names of the originators have been lost. If you notice anything you have passed on to me, but is not credited with your name, please let me know so that I can amend it. All transcriptions are written as they are spelt on Ancestry (unless otherwise stated) as this is the most common source people use for getting their information, that way it should make it easier for you to find them yourself.
